The University of St.Gallen offers various optional language courses before the start of studies (subject to a fee) to improve existing German and/or English skills. Special rules apply to students who have no previous knowledge of German at the time of entering the English track of the Assessment Year. The Military Liaison Office is available to all students enrolled at the University of St.Gallen for questions related to military, civil defense or alternative civilian service.
